Ian was born and raised in Manistee and has since made West Michigan home. The region’s unique mix of nature, strong local communities, and appetite for growth have fueled his passion for real estate and economic development.
While studying Economics at Ferris State University, Ian developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and data-driven thinking that translates naturally into understanding the complex forces that shape real estate markets. His academic background sparked a deep interest in capital markets and real estate investment — one that led him to intern at Advantage before joining the team full time as a Research Analyst.
In his role, Ian supports Advantage’s advisors and clients with accurate market data, property insights, and transaction activity.
