Murphy was born and raised in West Michigan and greatly enjoys the unique aspects of the area. Having worked several jobs in West Michigan, Murphy moved away for college, but returned to the area after college, wanting to work and live in West Michigan for the rest of his career.
Murphy began his commercial real estate career primarily in the Lansing market. His research-focused position helped him further his market knowledge overall, which allowed him to gain momentum in both the office and retail sectors. In his current role, Murphy works as a diligent and motivated junior advisor at Advantage. With his experience, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the industry and its dynamics.
